Ryan Hayward, B.Sc., P.Chem
Ryan has 10 years as an experienced Analytical Chemist, with a demonstrated history of working in the commercial laboratory industry. Ryan is Supra Research and Development's Laboratory Manager and has played a key role in Supra RnD's growth and accreditations for over five years. Skilled in Analytical Chemistry with experience utilizing GC-MSMS, LC-MSMS, ICP-MS, uHPLC, FIA. As a result, Supra RnD's delivers excellent Turnaround Times, Production, Research, and Client Services to our clients. Ryan has a vast knowledge of Natural Health Products testing, specializing in Fish Oils, Essential Oils, and Supplements, as well as a large assortment of environmental testing. Ryan's dedication to consistently evolving quality services, have resulted in Super RnD's NHP services as one of the best in Canada for Pricing and TATs.
Ryan has successfully completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Chemistry from University of British Columbia Okanagan.
Ryan is an ISO 17025 CALA Assessor since 2023.
Alisha Green
Alisha is an experienced analytical chemist who recently earned her MSc from UBCO through Supra. Her thesis investigated the effects of plant-derived volatiles on grapevine chemistry. Alisha started with Supra in 2021 as a co-op student in her undergraduate studies and transitioned to a full-time chemist after graduating. Alisha brings expertise in method development, metabolomic data analysis, and the troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, cross-stitching, watching reality TV, and staying active through yoga and Pilates classes.
Kylin Adam
Olivia Carlson
Olivia began her studies at the University of British Columbia Okanagan in 2019 and obtained a Bachelor of Science with a major in chemistry in 2024. She began working at Supra Research and Development as a laboratory chemist in June 2024. Olivia has experience using a variety of analytical techniques such as GC-MS, LC-MS, and LC-UV/Vis. She looks forward to learning new skills and gaining further laboratory experience at Supra.
Destiny Ellenor
Destiny graduated in 2021 with a BSc in Chemistry from the University of British Columbia's Okanagan Campus. During her studies, she completed an honours thesis focused on using advanced spectroscopic techniques to investigate materials synthesis for solar energy conversion. Following graduation, Destiny gained valuable quality management experience in the cannabis production industry, where she obtained key insights into client needs within a manufacturing business. Destiny has been working as an analytical chemist since 2022, joining Supra RnD in January 2025. She offers expertise in method development and in the operation, application, and maintenance of analytical instrumentation, including GC, LC, and Mass Spectrometry. In her free time, Destiny enjoys getting outside to appreciate the beautiful Okanagan landscape, attending yoga classes, spending time with animals, reading, and baking delicious treats.
Micky Nguyen
Micky graduated in 2020 with a HBSc in Chemistry with a Specialization in Medical Sciences from Lakehead University. She had the opportunity to gain research experience as a NSERC summer research student using chemistry synthesis techniques to find ways of working with radioactive materials regarding radio imaging. Micky worked as a lab technician for a couple of years in the environmental industry gaining valuable experience in analytical science, data analysis and quality control before joining Supra RnD in January 2025. Outside of work she enjoys origami, reading, and spending time with animals.
