Residual Solvents

Residual solvents are organic volatile chemicals that are present due to manufacturing processes. At Supra, we are able to for residual solvents as regulated by Health Canada regarding cannabis (which includes all of the United States Pharmacopeia [USP] Class 3 analytes) as well as a selection of Class 1 and 2 solvents in plant extracts. The residual solvents need to be limited due to their health effects as well as their ability to affect the physiochemical properties of the product.
